Introduction
This study is as a result of studying time management and organizational productivity of firms in Nigeria. The research is principally aimed at providing an insight into the management of time, challenges and ways these challenges could be effectively managed. The study is divided into five chapters namely; the first chapter covers the background to the study, the researcher problem, the objective as well as the significance of the study, delimitation and limitations of the study, research methodology and definition of terms. In chapter two, the researcher focuses on the review of related literature as it is related to the research topic and some literature reviews including journals and what other scholars has done on time management. In chapter three, the researcher indicated the research method used in detail; also it was in chapter four that the data used were collected, presented, analyzed and show the responses to the area being investigated which were documented along with their percentage relating to the question asked. In the last chapter, the researcher discussed the result obtained from data analysis in chapter four and also a useful and constructive suggestion was put down as that any interested party may be well guided.
Background to the study Times is an important asset, its management is critical for organizational productivity and survival. As a result, time management could be considered as one of the major competitive tools that can contribute towards improved organisational performance (Ahmed et al., 2012; Nonis et al., 2011).
