This research was set to investigate knowledge and attitude towards sex education among senior secondary school students in Ahoada Local Government Area of Rivers State. Morality of the young remains a great concern to educators throughout the world. As a result numerous studies have been conducted and various suggestions have been made in order to educate the young people about their sexual functioning. The study aims at determining the extent to which secondary schools students in the study area are aware of sex education and their application of such information. To achieve the objective of this study, four (4) research question and hypotheses were raised to guide the study. The researcher adopted survey research design and a sample size of (120) one hundred and twenty respondents was used. The study was carried out by administering questionnaires and interviewing senior secondary school students in Ahoada East Local Government Area. It was revealed that knowledge of the students about sex education was inadequate as most of them did not know that sex education educates one about the function of sex. It was also discovered that most of these students faces sex related challenges because of lack of sex education. Based on the findings, it is recommended that that sex education should be introduced in the senior secondary school curriculum in Nigeria.
