Please Don’t Regret Those Moments

Let’s just say I got used to deceiving you
Maybe I wasn’t fashioned to telling the truth
Or maybe I was scared of you being hurt knowing the truth
But, what sense does it makes now
Knowing I broke all our vow
Please don’t regret those moments
When you were good to the wrong me

I became the very pain in your neck
I remain the reason your head ache
I recall being a tough pills to break
Yet your love for me refused to break
I reasoned within me to take a bow
Or maybe I could appease you with a Cow
Yet, nothing could atone for a failed me
Just don’t regret those moments
You were good to the wrong me

I watched your light radiates from me
Leaving me to wallow in my past alone
The same awful past that altered me
The scars and hurts keep chasing me
To reside my rhymes today all alone
Please don’t regret those moments
You were good to the wrong me

I reasoned I was ungrateful, this I admit
I should’ve been better, that I remit
Regrets never makes the best part of me
So I take the blames today and always
Please channel all your grieves on me
But please never regret those moments
You were way too good to the wrong me!
